This abstract is called Fireplace1 because it originally was a painting of a flame burning in the fireplace one cold winter night. The wood crackling hot with the blues, blacks and oranges, yellows and white.
16 x 20 inches on Matt board
I put a maze of colors over the original allowing bits and pieces to peek through. When I view the piece now I look for that flame that gave me comfort that cold night long ago.
