Renoir is one of my favorite artists of his time. I did a study so I could actually feel his stokes of color, the composition and too the time capsule of his life with the clothing, gatherings etc. I did this using chalk pastels and acrylic on paper.
It was not my intention to make my version identical. What I wanted was to learn from one of the best!
