A study of a Renoir done in chalk pastels
I painted the whole painting but unfortunately it wripped and I decided I Iiked it like it is now. I feel it’s a glimpse into one of the great masters work. The soft texture of the chalk pastel on the paper works well.
I sketched out the composition freehand and gradually worked in the details
The size is;
Veterical /
9 1/2 x 6 inches on short end
9 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches log end
I framed it in a 12 x 12 inch complementary frame so you can hang it until you find the right frame for you.
